Hungry for Music Logo Copy Right OwnedThis morning Junior Appalachian Musicians and, the nonprofit, Hungry for Music were featured in NPR’s Morning Edition airing of “Have A Musical Instrument Gathering Dust? Nonprofit Will Take Your Donation.” Hungry for Music is a nonprofit organization that takes donated musical instruments and refurbishes them for children who need an instrument to use. Junior Appalachian Musicians has many members in the program that use instruments courtesy of Hungry for Music. The donated instruments that Hungry for Music provides is an instrumental part in Junior Appalachian Musicians’ opperation and allows for many children to embrace the music of their region.
