2025 Summit

Junior Appalachian Musicians, Inc. (JAM) is proud to announce the second year of JAM’s Traditional Music Education Summit. This dynamic conference is designed for teaching artists in JAM affiliated programs. Lodging, meals and attendance for this 4 day event is covered for only $50.00/participant this year, held at Emory & Henry University in the heart of Southwest Virginia (near Abingdon, Marion, Bristol, VA). Sign up now to reserve your spot; space is limited.

The goals of this professional development gathering include panel sessions and workshops led by master instructors and music education professionals, which offer skill development, higher level learning, and a pathway for connections between musicians and programs in the mountainous 7-state region of North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky and Georgia!

Attendance at the 2025 Summit will not qualify participants for JAM’s Teacher Certification Program. The JAM Teacher Certification Program is currently housed online after its live development at the first ever 2024 Summit. For more information about the JAM Teacher Certification Program or the 2025 Summit, please contact Julie Moore, JAM’s Event and Resource Coordinator at [email protected].
