Mr. Richard Jacob Bowen, age 42, of State Road, North Carolina, unexpectedly passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022 at his home. Jacob was born August 24, 1979 in Forsyth County to Stephen Edward Bowen and Diane Robertson Bowen.
Jacob was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, graduate of Appalachian State University with a Psychology degree, and a social worker with Daymark. He was a master fiddler and played with the Zephyr Lightning Bolts.
Survivors include: his parents, Steve and Diane Bowen of the home; brother, Jason Bowen and his wife Sarah of Ararat, NC; nephews, Jake Bowen and Case Bowen.
A private celebration of life will be conducted at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. John Newton officiating.
