The Nomads and Friends
The Nomads & Friends are making their second appearance at FloydFest, bringing high-energy Bluegrass, Americana and Country favorites to help everyone feel Forever Young! Elijah Moore, 17, of Kernersville, NC, is an award-winning mandolin player, including the 2021 NC State Mandolin Champion of the year. He is joined by his brother, Lincoln on bass, who has been playing since he was 7 years old. Rounding out the band is another set of award-winning siblings from Mocksville, NC, Brant Wimmer (guitar) and Lake Carver (fiddle). Expect soulful originals, electrifying covers and blended harmonies!

The Creekside Crawfish
The Creekside Crawfish is a five member stringboard of young musicians from ages 14-18. The Crawfish learned old time Appalachian music in the Transylvania JAM (Junior Appalachian Musicians) program in Brevand, NC and continue to share their music with the region. They have played at The Mountain Song Festival, won the SC State Fiddle Convention Youth Stringband competition, and frequently play at local venues and fundraisers. Recent highlights include opening for the Steep Canyon Rangers.
