About:

The Bristol Bearcat JAM, a Crooked Road JAM program, has four sites at The Morrison School, Virginia Middle School, Washington Lee Elementary School, and The Birthplace of Country Music Museum. Local bluegrass musicians work with Virginia Middle School teachers and administrators to host this traditional music education program after school for fourth through twelfth graders, as part of the 21st Century Learning Center grant. Bristol JAM offers instruction on fiddle, clawhammer and three-finger banjo, guitar, mandolin, bass, singing, and ukulele.

4 Locations & Schedule:

1) Virginia Intermediate School Tuesday from 4:00 to 5:00.
2) The Morrison School Jam Wednesday from 3:OO to 4:00
3) Virginia Middle School is Thursday from 4:00 to 5:30.
4) BCMM is on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30

Enrichment: Only the Bristol Museum JAM provides special activities. Guest artists and museum tours.
